Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC) and Heraldo de Aragón are awarding one full tuition scholarship for a qualified applicant from the Region of Aragón, Spain, to undertake the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program in the academic year 2011-2012. Through this scholarship, the both parties hope to attract outstanding future leaders from Aragón who can make a vital contribution to the field of supply chain management and logistics.Heraldo de Aragón is a Spanish newspaper that was founded in Zaragoza on the 20th of September in 1895. It gives general information about the news both on a regional, national as well as international level although it is especially focused on the Region of Aragón.The company Heraldo de Aragón, S.A. not only controls the Heraldo de Aragón newspaper but also many other media such as Heraldo de Soria, Que! Aragón, ADM Aragón, ZTV (Zaragoza TV), and many more. It’s wide experience and understanding of the society of Aragón has converted it into one of the main suppliers of news of the Region.Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC) partnered in 2003 with the Center for Transportation and Logistics (CTL) at MIT to form the MIT-Zaragoza International Logistics Program which is a unique research and education partnership that brings together the supply chain interests of academia, industry and government – all linked to the development of the largest logistics park in Europe, PLAZA. Through this education program, ZLC offers a master’s degree modeled on the MIT’s Master of Engineering in Logistics (MLOG) and that offers the unique combination of a world-class supply chain degree taught in a truly global setting; the Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program. Becas disponibles: 1 Características: Dotación: The scholarship covers full tuition for the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program, which amounts to ¤21,500 to a student of the academic year 2011/2012.One academic year (2011-2012) Origen de la beca: Fundación Zaragoza Logistics Center - 12/01/2011 Scholarships are awarded only to students who have been admitted to the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program through the Foundation’s regular admissions procedure. The applicants should display exceptional academic achievement and distinctive personal accomplishment in addition to an interest in pursuing a career in logistics and Supply Chain Management. To be eligible you must comply with the following criteria: – Spanish nationality and residence in the Region of Aragón. – Granted admission to the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program. – Fluency in English, competitive TOEFL score. Exceptions may be granted to individuals who have evidence of advanced verbal and written proficiency in the English language. – Completion of a four year undergraduate program equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree. – Competitive GMAT score. Exceptions may be granted to individuals who have demonstrated strong academic achievement in completing a college degree – including some quantitative training – and evidence of advanced verbal and written proficiency in the English language. – Professional excellence in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or exceptional academic achievement.
